Count to ten. Breathe. Breathe deeply. Today, was one of those days. Everything I said was wrong. Everything I attempted didn't work. I feel beaten down- a repetition of yesterday. I have a student in my class who has TBI and siezures. I recently found out that he has Landau Kleffner Syndrome and Opposition Defiant Disorder as well. Hello all, I have been teaching 4 middle school boys with various ED and MR since October. I am also taking my third class at UMW towards licensure. So, as you can see, as I learn, I am trying to incorporate it into my classroom instruction and behavior management. I would say that 75% of my day is behavioral management versus academic learning.
